Calli is shy and a bit nervous around big dogs, but loves to romp and play with little dogs. She loves people and we refer to her as a "people magnet." These are images of her first trip to a dog park.
Calli is a “Double Merle,” Australian Shepherd. 2 weeks after her adoption, Calli was diagnosed with Megaesophagus, a condition that is generally incurable, and often fatal. Part of her esophagus is enlarged and does not function correctly. Food and water don’t make it to her stomach for digestion. Dogs often die from this condition because of either malnutrition or aspiration pneumonia. Calli is a spirited survivor who provides us with joy and unconditional love. This is her story.
Love the photos. Just shared this with Mia and told her the story of Cali.
